| History | ||||
 In 1946 , Floyd E. Presley Sr., started serving the Southeast Missouri area doing refrigeration repair. He was trained by Mr. Henry Cutliff, who was one of the first to graduate the Frigidaire school. Floyd Sr. started servicing reach in boxes, coolers, and freezers at Mom and Pop grocery stores in the country. He then moved into working on and installing commercial and residential Furnaces and Air Conditioners. Floyd E. Presley Sr. had three sons that started working in the family business as soon as they were big enough to carry his tool box. The tool box was one of the old heavy tool boxes that in today’s world would have wheels. Floyd Sr. didn’t believe in making a bunch of trips to the truck, so he tended to keep ALL of his tools in the one tool box. All three boys would work after school, on weekends, and during the summer until they graduated. His wife, Mary Etta Presley maintained the home, served as company receptionist, bookkeeper, dispatcher and principal disciplinarian for the boys.
Floyd Sr. retired in 1987 at which time Floyd Jr. became the company’s leader. In 1988 Marty Presley re-joined the company after serving in the U. S. Coast Guard and being a leader in a telecommunications company. In the years that followed Presley Sales & Service grew in numbers and services offer like plumbing, electrical and full in-house residential & commercial installation services. Presley Sales and Service is proud to be a family owned and operated corporation, with the combined knowledge of three generations.

We maintain a high level of quality among our staff. All of our installers and technicians are trained on a regular, on-going basis. Presley Sales & Service has been installing and servicing high efficient heating and cooling units for years allowing us to be more than ready to help our customers comply with the new 13 SEER regulation. We have also been installing and servicing PURON units since 2000. PURON is an environmental friendly and industry proven replacement refrigerant for Freon 22. Copeland, a leading compressor manufacturer, has stated that they have experienced fewer compressor failures with PURON systems than any refrigerant to date. We also offer the Carrier HYBRID-HEAT systems which can be used with your existing gas furnace and provide energy savings. You can install a Carrier Heat Pump so that you will get $3.00 worth of heat for every $1.00 you pay for electricity. Presley Sales & Service has also designed, installed and commissioned large thermal storage units (chillers) that supply 34 degree water supply to cool chemicals in foam manufacturing plants across the USA. We have installed units in Terrel, TX, Spencerville, OH, Portage, WI, Tupelo, MS, Miami, FL, Longview, WA, Elkhart, IN, High Point, NC, Spokan WA, and Archbald, PA. |
